Documentation of Crimes in the Sphere of Spirits Trade
Abstract
This article is concerned on some aspects of documentation of crimes in the sphere of spirits trade. Some peculiarities of authorized units’ activity aimed to disclosing and stopping of crimes associated with illegal production and disposition of spirits are disclosed; an algorithm of its documentation is offered.
According to economic indicators spirits are of strategic value for any country’s economy. Taking into account substantial Ukrainian potential in spirits, liquors and wine industry, criminals will always be interested in illegal trade of such excisable products as well as in illegal firearms and drugs trade.
Nowadays responsibility for illegal spirits production and selling falls short of this sphere’s standards and country’s economy realities which causes a threat to citizens’ life and health and major damage to the state.
Main structural elements of disclosing of crimes elements and defining of persons who are preparing, committing or already committed them are determined with regards to spirits trade peculiarities and authorized operative units practice activity.
Documentation of crimes in the sphere of spirits trade is an activity of authorized units which is regulated by statuary enactments and consist of operative measures, workforce and means complex use in the process of disclosing and systematization of operatively significant information, examination and assessment of operative activity results and (with regard to it) relevant decision making with the aim of operative activity task solution solving for the benefit of criminal proceedings. This algorithm of action during documentation process is not exhaustive and could be changed depending on operative situation, circumstances of crime committing, persons of criminals, operative information in possession, workforce, means, etc.
