Peculiarities of State Regulation of Foreign Investment in Ukraine
Abstract
The article examines the peculiarities of state regulation of foreign investments in Ukraine is necessary and topical for today, because it is through its study and analysis that the necessary scientific foundation will be developed to identify certain ways of improving legislation in this area. Taking into account this, the problems of legal regulation of foreign investments in Ukraine, their forms and types, the peculiarities of state registration and guarantees of implementation are important in the context of the theoretical study of investment activity under the economic legislation of Ukraine. The task of this study is to carry out theoretical and legal analysis and to determine the features, essence and content of state regulation of foreign investment in Ukraine.
The urgency of this study is that, under the conditions of reforming the economic and legal, political, social spheres of life of the state and society, structural adjustment of the economy, attracting investments, including foreign ones, is extremely important for the development of our state, since foreign investment is one of the most effective and effective mechanisms aimed at achieving the development of domestic business entities. At the same time, we emphasize that the necessity of attraction of foreign investments is caused not only by objective economic phenomena and factors (crises, the need for modernization of the structure of the economy, improvement of sectoral and intersectoral proportions, stimulation of the development of new industries), but also some subjective (reduction investment activity of domestic business entities, outdated methods of regulating economic activity by the state, etc.). The foregoing stresses the importance of analyzing and studying the state regulation of foreign investment in Ukraine today.
