Polygraph Activity as One of the Perspective Directions for the National Academy of Internal Affairs Development
Abstract
The development of thepolygraph activity in the vital process of the National Academy of Internal Affairs has been characterized. Systematic analysis of the implementation and formation of the polygraph in the Academy as one of the leading institutions of higher education, which is part of the organizational structure of higher educational institutions that belong to the management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine,was conducted. Significant scientific and practical achievements for the Academyrelated to thepolygraphactivity are shown. The current state of this activity is defined with the determination of perspectives of its development for the future of the Academy. The importance of polygraphy as an area of scientific knowledge has been proved, as obtaining relevant theoretical knowledge and practical skills in using the polygraph is a prerequisite for the proper quality of the work of the law enforcement system and the tasks assigned to it. The purpose of this article is to highlight the process of formation, development and modern state of the polygraph and its use at the National Academy of Internal Affairs.
