Features Gathering Evidence about Creation and Maintenance of Places of Debauchery by the Criminal Police

Abstract
The human desire for easy money is understandable, but unfortunately many people in this situation will let themselves violate both morality and law. The creation and maintenance of places of debauchery brings a fairly high income with a relatively small investment that contributes to such illegal activities. These crimes constantly committed across the country and infringe on public morality. In Ukraine for counteraction to such crimes May 23, 2000, in the structure of the Criminal Investigation were created the units for combating crimes related to trafficking in human beings and in the sphere of public morality. This division over its history has been repeatedly reorganized, and later was separated from the criminal investigation. Today the Department to combat crimes related to human trafficking is a structural unit of the National Police of Ukraine. The unit operates as a part of the criminal police and in accordance with the legislation provides realization of state policy in the sphere of counteraction trafficking, prevention of, detection, suppression and detection of criminal offenses related to illegal immigration and offenses in the sphere of public morality. Gathering evidence about the unlawful acts of individuals and groups, responsibility for which is provided Criminal code of Ukraine, determined by the legislator as one of the tasks of operative-investigative activities. One of the subjects of such activities is the criminal police. Gathering by the operational units of the National Police of Ukraine evidence of the creation or maintenance of places of debauchery is carried out in the special materials of operative-investigative activities. These documents are used as the reasons and grounds for the beginning of pre-trial investigation and to obtain evidence in a criminal case. The author develops and offers organizational and tactical recommendations for law enforcement agencies to carry out the work. These recommendations can be used by employees of criminal police in combating crimes against morals, as well as for future scientific developments in this field.Downloads
