Abstract
Article examines main typical embezzlement material and intangible links in construction sphere. It is established that construction embezzlement like any other criminal activity can be identified with material and intangible links detected in the surrounding environment. But the material links are fixed in manuscripts, printed and electronic information sources while intangible are presented as individuals – professionally involved witnesses. It is proved that the links of criminal activity as any element of forensic classification are the core of any specific method regardless of the criminal activity. Typical links of construction embezzlement can be used to identify the environment and means of the committed act and vice versa – means of crime committal can lead the investigator to the link profile. Huge amount of construction embezzlement schemes along with high percent of connected crimes increases the quantity of linking objects containing relevant information. Two main groups of these objects are separated 1) documents; 2) premises; 3) valuable items; 4) money. It is defined that documents are the key construction embezzlement material links which are the primary and unappealable evidence sources in the course of criminal investigation.Downloads
