Criminological Characteristics of Crimes in the Field of Law Enforcement Personnel Professional Activity

Abstract
Ukraine, turning to the legal European state should hold a series of global reforms related to fighting corruption and bureaucracy to achieve adequate living standards of millions of citizens seeking Western vector of development. Providing combating corruption requires a comprehensive study of organizational and legal problems of international cooperation in this area and the development based on specific recommendations and suggestions for improving national and international anti-corruption laws and practices of the relevant law enforcement authorities. Improving international cooperation in combating corruption requires that such cooperation has been recognized as one of the priorities of the foreign policy of our country and regularly inform the international community about Ukraine’s desire to be a partner of this interaction and active direct participation in the events specified by the relevant agreements. The relevance for preventing and combating corruption in the public sector increases day by day. More and more are picking up the process of filling the «legal vacuum» in this area, the beginning of which, of course, was the adoption of the Law of Ukraine «On Principles of Prevention and Combating Corruption in Ukraine». During this time not only criminal law or the rules of administrative influence on corrupt violators have been changed, the methods by which the state plans to minimize the manifestations of this shameful phenomenon have been conceptually reviewed redirecting from purely punitive to warning. One of these tools the basis for a new system to prevent corruption should be authorized unit(s) on the prevention and detection of corruption. Therefore, we are trying to review a number of issues, which, in our opinion, are the key and may arise in the near future due to the need for activities authorized by departments and individuals. Criminological crime rates in the official activities of the National Police, the level, structure and dynamics are analyzed as well. We study the geography and thelevel of latency of this kind of crime. Trends in crimes committed while performing service activity, which is the basis for developing effective measures against this type of crime, are revealed.Downloads
