Criminalistic Characteristics of Persons who Involve Minors in Prostitution

Abstract
The article describes the questions of criminological characteristics of the person who involves minors in prostitution. The study of the personality of a criminal during constructioning criminalistic characteristics of all categories of criminal offences and paying attention to it in the scientific literature and in the current legislation of Ukraine is important. It is proved that for a comprehensive study of the person of the criminal who involves minors in prostitution, it is necessary to investigate such elements of the criminalistic characteristics of the personality of the offender, gender, age, nationality, educational level, occupation, marital status, the presence on the upbringing of minors, permanent residence, experience of criminal activity of prostitution being at the narcologist registration, moral and psychological qualities. All these elements of the individual offender characteristics are in correlation dependence not only among themselves but also with other elements of criminalistic characteristics of this type of crime, in particular the age and sex of the offender determine his social status, psychological features, social circle, level of education and intellectual development are reflected in the way of the crime, the abilities and skills, which are used; also it determines the range of communication, interests, value orientations. The results of the analysis of materials of criminal proceedings which are established as a crime is more typical for women as a natural consequence of the changes of a woman's place in the system of social relations, the decline of welfare of the population and limiting the employment opportunities of women. Aim to be rich without intellectual effort leads to increase the number of persons which at first begin prostitution occasionally, than, in the future, this activity becomes their only source of income, and in the end, they expand the scope of its activities by involving other persons, including minors, into prostitution. The results of the study confirm the need for further scientific knowledge of characteristic individual features of the persons, who involves minors in prostitution, as well as comprehensive study of the complex factors, which affect the formation of its wrongful conduct.Downloads
