Legal Regulation of Activities Related to the Polygraph in Ukraine

Abstract
The article reveals topical issues related to the legal principles of the polygraph in Ukraine. The issue of question is that, currently, in Ukraine, there is no legislative confirmation of using polygraph. This is what serves some of the officials of the various verticals of public administration authorities on the ambiguous attitude before the polygraph special surveys (surveys) persons with the use of scientific and technological device obtained by using the results in its enforcement practice. To remove these controversial issues that are sustained in terms of national scientists and practitioners, we have provided a list of basic and reasonably legislation of Ukraine, which regulates this activity using a polygraph and gives it the character of a legitimate application. Grounded position of the author for using the results of physiological research under the supervision of the polygraph in various areas of public relations and various areas of activity, including the selection of candidates for vacancies (personnel «screening»), special (internal) audits and internal investigations, as well as the fulfillment of tasks within the pre-trial and trial proceedings on committed criminal offenses.Downloads
