Abstract
that investigator can do to track down fugitives from the law. The Code only mentions that the investigator can proclaim the criminal investigation, the order to start the search and delegate the functions of tracking to special units. From the beginning of tracking the fugitives from the law, the investigator creates a plan of possible versions of the investigation. During the tracking of fugitives from the law it’s important to get such information as: general knowledge about the person, possible places of stay, the circle of friends, family, information about car plates, phone numbers, bank account numbers, passport, social media activity (Facebook, Twitter, Instargam accounts etc.), the availability of weapons. The investigator should use such types of investigation activity as: examination, identity parade, expert studies, search etc. The methods of tracking fugitives from the law that include the use of mobile phones and the Internet have been insufficiently studied. The investigator can find important information with the help of mobile network operators. They can provide such information as: information about phone calls and their duration, sms, mms, the location of a mobile phone user, etc.)Downloads
