Identification evidence of the importation, manufacture, sale and distribution of pornographic materials

Abstract

Citizens’ attitude towards different aspects of our life is constantly changing, adapting to modern conditions, however, and the question of the preservation of its spiritual world and maintain a high level of culture is extremely important for the normal existence of society. A particular object of protection by the state and society is morality. Nowadays there are many efforts to counter the importation, manufacture, sale and distribution of pornographic materials, especially child pornography. Unfortunately, such crimes have place in our country, but operational units of internal Affairs constantly hold events for their detection and suppression. For Ukraine this problem is actually. Dynamics for detection of these crimes does not change significantly, but, is rising. The author solves the problem studying the statistic materials that are identified the importation, manufacture, sale and distribution of pornographic materials by the internal Affairs, showing the peculiarities of the work in this field. In addition, recommendations are provided about finding evidence of such illegal activity, which may help emergency employees to perform duties. These materials are used for the prevention, detection, suppression and investigation of crimes, also as the reasons and grounds for starting of pre-trial investigation and to obtain the actual data that may be evidence in criminal proceedings. Nowadays in the government there are significant legal changes in the work of law enforcement agencies, that impact on the work of some parts of internal Affairs of Ukraine. However, finding evidence of the unlawful acts of individuals and groups has been and remains a priority investigative activity. Peculiarities of legal support of law enforcement in this field, that we have shown and recommendations for finding evidence of such illegal activity can be used by operatives in practice and to raise awareness in such matters. The results of the study can serve as a basis for further research in this field.
