Abstract
The article is devoted to the topical issues, because judicial reform in Ukraine requires critical reflection of current legislation which regulates the judicial system and legal proceedings, in order to improve it and bring it in line with international standards of judicial power. Impartiality of the court according to international standards, which found a reflection in numerous international legal acts is studied by the author. The article emphasizes the importance
of impartiality for the democratic organization and functioning of national courts. Attention is paid to the need for the implementation of international standards in national law and judicial practice in the conditions of judicial system reforming.
