Abstract

The article is entitled about theoretical aspects of organization and tactics of search missing persons in modern conditions. At the beginning, the author formulates the problem and purpose of the article. Then he begins to describe the main body of the article. He starts from normative acts which regulate this kind of activity and focuses on the definition of concepts such as organization and tactics. The article shows the connection between theory and practice of police activity regarding the search for missing persons. The scientist demonstrates the elements of  tactics and then goes on to speak about police operative-search activity. He dwells on first steps in search for missing persons starting with receiving a statement about disappearance of a person and then touches upon planning of operational actions and peculiarities of their conduct. At the same time attention is paid to determine criminal circumstances of the accident. Subsequently the author describes the problems that arise during searching for missing persons. The review of  problems in this sphere begins from the quality of police activity and then touches upon specific situations. The author gives some examples from his experience. Besides that, the researcher describes changes in the life of the country which are reflected on the work of the police and described by the researcher. It means the changes in the structure of government bodies that provide supporting information, mass computerization, database creation, the need to use the internet resources in daily activities. To summarize the author writes it is important to say that theoretical research in this area is conditioned by the needs of practice. The scientist show the theoretical aspects of organization and tactics search for missing persons in modern conditions which are important for science and practice.
