Abstract

The urgency of the scientific article is due to the fact that the fuel and energy sector is of strategic importance to the stateʼs economy, since energy production and energy supply ensure energy consumption of all other sectors of the market economy and the welfare of the population. The purpose of the writing of the article is that, based on the analysis of normative legal acts, scientific and theoretical views of scientists, the results of investigative and judicial activity and practical activities of the units of the National Police of Ukraine and the National AntCorruption Bureau of Ukraine, to establish and generalize the typical methods of committing crimes by officials in the fuel and energy complex at the existing level of threats in the economy, in particular, in fuel and energy. Research methods. The methodological basis of scientific is a holistic and coherent system of methods, methods and methods of scientific knowledge that has enabled to properly analyze the subject of research.
The scientific novelty of the results obtained is that the scientific article is a successful attempt of a comprehensive study of the establishment of methods of committing crimes by officials in the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine. Summarizing the above, it should be concluded that knowledge of the peculiarities of the methods of crimes committed by officials in the fuel and energy complex will allow the use of effective tactical techniques and methodological recommendations for their investigation and prevention, to nominate and verify versions of the mechanism of the crime, its links with other crimes involved individuals and find out other important circumstances in criminal proceedings.
