Abstract
Gender inequality is still deeply ingrained in every community. Women suffer from violence, manifestation professional discrimination, gender segregation, labor, etc. They are not enough involved in maintaining peace and security in the framework of national, regional and international institutions and mechanisms for the prevention, management and resolution of conflicts. The article investigates the role of the United Nations, its agencies and international-legal acts in this field, the proposed conclusions and recommendations regarding their implementation in the national legislation.Downloads
