SMART CITY APPROACH AND THE LEVERAGING OF GEOINFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES FOR PUBLIC SAFETY PURPOSES
Abstract
У статті досліджується потенціал геоінформаційних технологій, наводяться приклади використання геоінформаційних систем для підвищення рівня громадської безпеки та протидії злочинності у різних країнах світу. Впровадження поліцейських геоінформаційних систем у межах концепції «Розумне місто» призведе до скорочення часу реагування на виклики, покращення координації реагування на надзвичайні ситуації, оптимізації планування розподілу ресурсів, зосередження зусиль на місцевості з високим рівнем правопорушень та розслідування правопорушень.
