The scientific journal «Nauka i pravoohorona» is the scientific platform of modern scientific thought of domestic and foreign scientists on the latest achievements and actual problems of law, criminology, history, sociology, psychology, public administration, law enforcement and law enforcement practice, on the pages of which publish original scientific-theoretical and practical articles on legal science.

In connection with the reorganization of the State Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine by merging it with the National Academy of Internal Affairs (Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 174-r of February 28, 2025), the transfer of the relevant rights of the entity in the media sphere is currently underway.
