Preventative and combating actions against corruption: international experience

Abstract
In this article authors describe one of the method of prevention of «conflict of interests» corruption, which based on international experience of analysis. Where highlighted next preventative actions of «conflict of interests», which are typical in the US laws: general order; statutory prohibition; rule of impartiality and fairness; purchase of confiscated property; unusual payment; defensive mechanisms from «conflict of interests»; nepotism; transparency of financial reporting. Noted that Ukrainian law in a question of prevention from corruption concedes nothing to international standards in these questions, but Ukrainian law about prevention of conflicts of interests have only a general formulations without establishing special rules about prevention conflict of interests and its resolving with the specific scope of regulation. Authors notated that one of the aspects of problems is a lack of proper institutional provision implementation of the rules about conflicts of interests. Don’t introducing a mechanism of adherence of the norms about solution of conflicts of interests through using of effective and dissuasive sanctions.Downloads
